Beer Steamed Cheeseburgers

BEER STEAMED CHEESEBURGERS

The Steamed Cheeseburger is real popular in some parts of the country, but when done on the grill it becomes legendary, as shown by the BBQ Pit Boys

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED: FOR PATTY

  • Ground Beef Chuck – 1 Pound (as needed)
  • Coarse Salt - To Taste
  • Garlic Flake - To Taste
  • Onion Flake - To Taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - To Taste
  • Shredded Cheese – To Taste
  • Your Favorite Beer – 1 can
  • 2 Black Iron Pans

FOR SERVING

  • Bread Slice – 2
  • Your Favorite Burger Condiments

DIRECTIONS GETTING READY

1. Season Ground Chuck to taste 2. Roll meat into a compact patty

MAKING

3. Sear Patty on both sides over Direct Heat 4. After seared place Burger in Black Iron Pan – over Direct Heat 5. Pour beer into pan with the burger – enough to cover bottom of pan and create steam 6. Cover Burger with the second Iron Pan 7. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes depending on grill heat

FOR CHEESEBURGER PATTY:

8. Place Shredded Cheese on top of Burger – recover with 2nd pan 9. Move Iron Pan to Indirect Heat to slowly melt cheese

FINALIZING

10. Top bread slice with cheeseburger, followed by your favorite condiments

SERVING
